Trekking belt 2.0
75,00 €
Ideal for : Hiking, Every day
Description
Wearing a belt lets you walk, run, or ski with your dog hands-free, making your outings more comfortable. The Trekking Belt 2.0 is designed to reduce strain on your back by evenly distributing the pulling force over a wide area. Its thick, soft, and lightweight padding enhances comfort.
Your dog’s leash attaches to a front hook, while removable leg straps help keep the belt securely in place.
Two attachment loops allow you to carry dog waste bags or other small essentials. For additional storage, the Trekking Belt 2.0 can be paired with a Belt Bag (sold separately).
3M™ reflective piping and print improve visibility in low-light conditions, keeping you safe on evening or cloudy-day adventures.

How do I attach my dog’s leash to the Trekking belt 2.0?
If you want to be able to easily release the leash, simply put the leash on the open hook. For more security, thread the leash through the D-ring first, then put it on the hook. Do not attach the leash directly to the D-ring only, as it is not designed to hold the dog on its own.
How should the Trekking belt 2.0 sit?
Despite often being referred to as “waist belts”, belts made for hiking, running and skiing with dogs should sit low in order to distribute the force over your hips and bum. If the belt sits too high, you risk back pain and other injuries. We recommend that you use the leg straps attached to your belt. These straps will prevent your belt from sliding out of position.
How do I attach the Belt bag to my belt?
On the back of the Belt bag there is a tunnel pocket. Simply slide your belt through the tunnel pocket to attach the Belt bag to your Ferd belt or Trekking belt 2.0.
Which belt should I choose?
The Trekking belt 2.0 is a versatile, allround belt suitable for activities like hiking, running and skiing with dogs. If you are specializing in any of these activities, you might consider buying a belt designed for your favorite activity, as different activities demand different features from your gear.
Can I use a carabiner instead of the hook?
For the Trekking belt 2.0, the hook is the only leash attachment point. Do not attach a carabiner to the D-ring on the belt.
